"Beautifully performed and recorded, this may be the first audiophile recording of the Troma Nagmo ritual, the Tibetan Buddhist wrathful female deity of compassion. The text is sung and spoken in Tibetan and Sanskrit in an authentic and masterful performance by Lama Tsering Gyaltsen and Sangye Tsomo, accompanied with traditional Tibetan instruments. The recording, on two discs, is over two and a half hours long, and is a complete concise version of this tantric practice of the Nyingma Buddhist lineage. It can be appreciated as traditional music, and the recording also serves as a resource for learning the ritual songs, and instructions for variations for performance are included. Lama Gyaltsen, a Tibetan, and his wife Sangye Tsomo, from Nepal, now teach and live in Corvallis, Oregon."
